Great, Pam. I doubt I can be of much help to you, though. My Daggetts are all distant cousins of mine, and they're fairly early (1782-1820s), so it would be a bit difficult to make any connections with you father and grandfather. I'm sure they probably descend from Silas Daggett, born February 9, 1782 in Tisbury, Dukes County, Maine, but I have no idea from which of Silas' sons they would have descended from. The sons of Silas Daggett and Peggy (Margaret) Cleveland (my 4th cousin, 6 times removed) were:

West Daggett, b. 1808
Hiram Daggett, b. 1811
Joseph Daggett, b. May 15, 1814
Isaac Chase Daggett, b. February 5, 1816
Silas Daggett, b. abt 1822

Gary
