If you can get a copy of "The History of Martha's Vineyard" Volume 3, there quite an extensive family of Daggetts listed. It starts with John Daggett b. abt 1626 and runs through Peter Daggett b. 17 Jan 1770 living in Tisbury, Massachusetts. Volume 3 is all the families that lived in Martha's Vineyard from the earliest dates of the settlements there. All of you researching the Daggetts may solve many of your earlier beginnings by reading this book. I would say there are at least 200 possibly more names. Most of the names I see posted on this web appear in this book. Good luck.
