Hi Pete..I think we are researching different Hiram Daggetts..My Hiram W. Daggett was born
1842 in Hodgdon Maine. His spouse was Selina Lyons b. 1866 in Hodgdon, Me. he served in the civil war and died in the Togus Vets Home in August Me. in 1929....His Parents were James E. Daggett 1801 Hodgdon Me. and Christina Gray 1842 Hodgdon, Me.. (His line is:Hiram,James E., James, Samuel, Thomas, Brotherton,Joshua,Thomas, John, William, John, Richard) I'm also connected to this line thru other Daggett lines.
Brotherton Daggett 1686 Edgartown Mass. married his cousin Thankful Daggett. She was the daughter of Thomas Daggett.(His parents Thomas/Hannah Mayhew) And to make it even more confusing....James E. Daggett (Hirams father) married Christina Gray daughter of John Gray and Catherine DAGGETT ( daughter of Nathan and grand daughter of Seth..) Yipes Daggetts all over the place... Jeanne
