Thanks for the link, Jamie. It was very informative. I'd like to track down the article from the American Genealogist concerning Alice Brotherton which was mentioned on that webpage. It sounds like it was convincing and that the author made a good case.

I don't have any other information except what I have seen in the works of Samuel Bradlee Doggett and Willard Manning Daggett, which were done years ago.

If I manage to find a copy of that article, I'll be sure to let you know.
