Tom: Per your 10/05/01 entry, I thought there was a Butler Genealogy on the Duke's County MV web-site re your search for John Butler. My father's maternal ancestors(Athearn)in E'town, inter-married with Butler(Mary)Skiff(Sarah),Cottle(Ann)and Daggett(Margaret). Robert and Margaret went from MV to Augusta and travelled up to New Vineyard abt 1791. A son got married in Industry and I have seen Hatch's book on Industry. There is a microfilm of town records(Industry) at Augusta Archives. Unfortunately, early New Vineyard records were lost.
