I am looking for more info on John Holmes Daggett/or his descendants. We are not related; however, my great grandfather lived with a Holmes and Mary Daggett in Houlton, Maine, in 1850. (he is listed as Laurette Fournier, Male, age 15, on the 1850 census.)His real name is Laurent (Lorrent) Fournier, and I am looking for any of John H. and Mary's descendants who may have any info on why Laurent was living with them, or who his parents were. There is a Fournier family rumor that Mary was a Fournier, but nothing to substantiate it. Let me know if you can help.
