I don't know if this connects, but here is what I have on my wife's DAHILL family from Arlington (Boston) MA. It looks like this Thomas DAHILL was probably born before 1850, and probably from Co. Cork:

1 Thomas DAHILL
+Julia SHEA
2 Jeremiah DAHILL b: Scibbereen, Co. Cork, Ireland
+Katherine Anne O'NEIL b: 14 Sep 1870 Arlington, MA m: 21 Jun 1893 Arlington, MA (also registered in Somerville, MA)
3 Thomas DAHILL d: Nov 1977
+Helen m: Somerville, MA
3 Katherine DAHILL
3 Margaret DAHILL
3 Gerald Blois DAHILL b: 20 Oct 1900 Nova Scotia, Canada d: 30 Oct 1985
+Ebba JOHNSON b: Cambridge, MA d: 4 May 1994
3 William DAHILL, Dr.
3 Dorothy Agnes DAHILL b: 12 Jan 1905 Arlington, MA d: 25 Jul 1972 Riverside, RI
+Patrick Edward GATELY b: 17 Jan 1900 Hudson, MA m: 1935 Boston, MA d: 23 Jul 1970 Riverside, RI
3 Arthur DAHILL

Jeremiah Dahill was a bulding contractor. He was married at St. Agnes Church (formerly St. Malarchy) by Rev. J. H. Mulcahy.

Jeremiah Dahill's wife, Catherine O'Neil, was baptized 18 Sept 1870 at St. Peter's Church in Cambridge, MA. Her middle name was Anne. She was born 14 Sep 1870. The Godparents were Nathanial BULLOCK and Julia O'NEIL. Her parents were Patrick O'NEIL from Co. Cork, and Kate FOGERTY.

I don't have any more info on them. Does this look familiar to anyone?
