Greetings!! My mother was born in 1924 her maiden name was Florence Dahlgren and she married Robert F. McKane. Her father Barthold Dahlgren was born in 1893 in Stockholm, Sweden and came here sometime around the turn of the century. We are listed in the "who's who" of Sweden which is called (in English anyway) "The Swedish Family Calendar". I am looking for a copy of it but I have not been able to locate one. I am not sure how far back our family can be traced but I know there are some interesting characters in it, not the least of which is John Erikson the designer of the Civil War ironclad "The Monitor".

I am interested in finding out more if you have anything and of course I'll share whatever I have with you.
