My name is Christi Dollman and I live in BC Canada as well. To my knowledge "Dahlmann was the original spelling of my last name before my grandfather immigrated to Canada in the early 1900's? He was a child, his name was Lennard Dollman and he was born in Polland after his family was fleeing Germany during the war? So if your name is still spelled the original way, perhaps there is no relation
