David Thalman (Surbourg) and Marguerite Bloch married about 1800. Their son- Eleazar (Lazard) Thalman married Esther Kahn- died in Reidselz 1869, Esther died 1888-they are buried in small Jewish cemetery in Wissembourg (Weisenburg in German) (They are my Great-Great Granparents). Had six children--Isaac, Raphael, Bernard, Damiel, David and Jeanette. Raphael is my Great-Grandfather, one of his son's is Leon (my Grandfather) who married Alice Frankel (also born in Alsace), my Grandmother-they lived in New York City.
