My grandparents were Ed and Martha Kuck Dashe. My mother was Una Mae Dashe Means Hoyer. She recently past away. We grew up outside of Yoakum on a farm in Dewitt Country, a small community about 17 miles from town. My poppa farm and area surrounded by family land, mostly around the Otto Kuck family. I do not know anything about the Dahse side, more memory about the Kucks.
I am 57 and can remember the homes and the cementery like yesterday, playing in the yards and going to family events. Such good memeories. My Poppa was a fine Christian man, we attended a small Luthern chruch in the area at that time.
Any information would be helpful.
I am trying to find info on my dad's side of the family. My mom married John E. Means of the Yoakum area, I was born in 1947. His parents were Hugh and Francis Means.
