Hi!
I have an ancestor named M. Marguerite Daigneau, but don't have much information on her, as far as dates or her parents or any siblings. However, she must have married sometime in the 1700's to Ambroise Mace (with an accent over the 'e'). Their daughter M. Marguerite Mace married Joseph Roberge. They had several children, one of which was my great-great-grandfather David Roberge, author of "Foot of Horse" and inventor of the rolling horseshoe and adjustable toe weights which enabled lame horses to walk gracefully. He came from Quebec to New York and married Sarah Emeretta Stowe.

I am just beginning to look at the Daigneau line!
Dawn
