On pages 131-132 Volume I:
[Capt. Thomas Sawyer's Company]
A Pay Roll of Militia, raised for the defence of the Northern Frontiers of the United States, June 29, 1779.

Pay Table Office, Sunderland, May 18, 1786. The above pay roll is examined and approved and the Treasurer is directed to pay contents, continental money, to Noah Smith, Esq. P.M.G."

"Pay Roll in the Battalion of Infantry in the service of the State of Vermont, commanded by Saml. FLETCHER, Esq., Lt. Col. Commandant.
