Daily Of Clark Co., IN

I have been researching the Daily's of Clark Co., IN now for almost 6 years. I, myself, am a former Daily from there, so this is my direct heritage. I have information going back to Philip Daily b. 1710. Now I don't have a lot of information on this individual, but I do have his son Charles, his wife, and their 6 sons, three of which came from PA to KY and then on to IN. I have many Daily's and their spouses and children. I am missing some which I am hoping someone out there can help me fill in. Here is a short of the extensive line:

Philip Daily b. 1710, had at least one child named Charles b. Abt 1730 in MD. Charles married Eleanor Temple (Nellie) and they had 6 male children; Philip, Charles, Samuel, John, Nathan, and George. Some time after the death of Charles in 1783 in PA, Nellie sold the land that Charles owned and migrated to KY with at least 3 of her sons around 1796 along with other families from PA. They stayed at Ft Boone, KY with Daniel Boone while under Indian attack. From this point, the line gets extensive. The most common names in this line are Philip, Charles, Samuel, and John. This line includes various spellings of the Daily name. My own brother's name was spelled DailEy while the remainder of the family had no "E". The spelling depended on the census taker or the records keeper at this early date. If anyone is interested in sharing information, please contact me either via this forum, or direct email at All interested parties are welcome and inquiries will be answered ASAP. Thank you in advance. Renee
