william daines b. 1868 m. clara van dyke 9.21.1868 possibly in athens co., ohio. clara was the daughter of jacob van dyke and sarah ann rainey. jacob was the son of Henry Van Dyke and Sarah Ann Job [Yeagley]. jacob's father was Ferdinand.
william daines and and clara van dyke produced two offspring i am aware of. Frank Emerson Daines, Athens, Athens County, Ohio m. Bearl Berneda Lonas [Lohness] and Mabel Ann Daines m. John R. Schmidt. Thru Frank Emerson Daines the line continues to Franklin Don Daines, my father.
Anyone have any connections to these folks? I am particularly interested in William and CLara. Can't seem to get beyond them. I have limited information on this branch of the Daines/Dain/Daynes clan, but I have original copy of the works of an author {Ms. Lamb, from Michigan]who has researched the Abraham Daynes / Sarah Peake line, and published a small book. {no longer in print.)
Any assistance with this branch of the family would be appreciated.
