There is a photo of a property document dated 16 January 1839 relating to John Daines on website (actual document)

This is the first part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which John Daines is selling proprety in Great Wakering, Essex, to George BELCHAM of Rayleigh, Essex. Draper. The property consists of:

(1) A parcel of land of 2 acres used as a Brickfield which was previously part of Wakering Hall.
(2) A parcel of 4 acres bounded on the West by land of Wakering Hall and on the South by land of North Shoebury Hall.

Both pieces of land had been in the estate of Elizabeth EGERTON and then of her son William DENN.
