Hi Nancy,
I am sure we are distant cousins thru the Matthews. My Great Grandmother was Sue Dalby and she was married to my Great Grandfather Bird Henderson Dalby. When my Great Granfather died in Jan. of 1900.Sue had two little boys and one of them was my grandaddy,Roy Warren Dalby he was only two years old at the time and then there was his brother Robert Lee Dalby.
I have very little knowledge about the Matthew Family. Grandaddy called his grandmother Grandmaw Addie and thought her last name was Mathis untill I found out different. I show 12 children born to John L Matthews and Nancy Poe and I have birthdates for them but that is about it. I have no parents for either John or Nancy. I would love to hear from you and exchange some family information.
