I am pretty certain that these people are my ancestors. My mother, now 85, was born in Sheffield, she talks of a family from Harrogate but it's very vague.
I received a letter from Mavis Palmer today who added the fact that the parents of John is Peter Dalby. Johns mother was Sarah Thompson. They married Feb 3rd 1801 in Spofforth.
Johns wife was Chalotte Groves.
Can you tell me where you "looked up" this information. Is it available on the web? Can I access it myself?
Than you so much for taking the time.
