Fred and John Peter are the sons of Richard Dalby (bapt. March 23 1834)all from Thorner. Richard was the 5th son of Peter (bapt. March 23 1794)and Faith Dalby(bapt 1799). I believe that Richard and Faith were probably 2nd cousins, although I haven't been able to prove the link as yet. I believe that Faith is the older sister of Robert (bapt.1809) that Mr. Colley has in his family tree, although my research found all the siblings baptized in Thorner. Peter is the older brother of my Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather John (bapt Aug. 21 1796). John's eldest daughter Mary, is the Ridsdale that other researchers have mentioned on this forum.
