I am descended from the Dalbys of Thorner
I see that i am related to a number of people on this forum
Liz Kempton's notes have been of particular interest as she appears to go to Thorner Historical Society. I am intending on going to next meet in October.
My Dalby relations include the following.
Richard Dalby and Grace Tarboton.
His son Peter who married Faith Dalby
I am descended from their daugther Grace, born abt 1836
She married Michael Wilson from Huddlestone, Sherburn.
They had 4 children including Henry my great great grandfather, born abt 1865. Henry married Minnie Whitfield from Newbrough, Peterborough. Their son, George Henry Whitfield Wilson is my great grandfather and he was the butcher who founded Wilson's in Crossgates.

Look forward to contact

Rich
