Hi Beverly,
Your posting is interesting food for thought. I still haven't hit my immigrant yet and I am back almost 250 years now. Some people say that my Dalbey line is Welsh and others say French, English or any of the Scandinavian countries depending on who you talk to.

My earliest ancestor that I can prove seemed to like hanging around either Mennonite or the German Reformed churches, but the records don't exist to nail the down. His one son's children liked the German Reformed Church.

I tend to think that my Dalbey line may have been of Swedish descent, but I can't prove it. One of the early lines in the area was the Dalbo or Dalboe family.
