Spellings of Daley in the U.S. Census

I just started looking at US census records and was amazed at the spellings for what we thought was Daley. I found Daley, Dailey, Daily, Dail, Daeley, Daly and countless other spellings . My suggestion in your search in the census is to try these and use your imagination in the spelling. Would like to hear from some Maryland "Daleys" to find out about cemeteries where they might be buried around Dorchester County. I am looking for relatives for my aging mother-in-law. Have gone back to 1850 for sure and two more census' where it is just head of household and age brackets. Good Luck
