George Dalgardno/Dalgarno b1878

I have only just started researching my Dalgarno lineage and would love to hear from anyone who thinks there is a connection to my "family".

My great-grandfather was born George Dalgardno on 2 October 1878 at Cookney, Kincardine. His parents were George Dalgardno and Jessie Dow (who were married 14 June 1878 Nigg, Kincardine). By the time that he married, his surname had evolved into Dalgarno. He married Helen Garden Deans on 23 Feb 1906 at Richmond Cafe, Correction Wynd, Aberdeen. George was deceased by the time of my grandparent's marriage in 1934. His son, my grandad, was also George Dalgarno (b 1911/ 1912 d 1945 buried Hanover). Other children were Jacob, Nell, Jean and Liz. There was also a Bobby Davidson who was fostered / adopted into the family.

Because my grandfather was killed when my Dad was only an infant, I have only sketchy information about that side of the family.

I would, therefore, be grateful for any help anyone can provide.

Many thanks
