Elizabeth Dalgarno - Longside, Aberdeen

Barbara THOMSON was christened on July 24, 1831 in Longside, Aberdeenshire. She was the daughter of Thomas THOMSON and Elizabeth DALGARNO. Thomas may have been my ggg-gf, who lived in St. Fergus, the parish next to Longside, before he emigrated to Canada. Elizabeth may have been the daughter either of Sylvester DALGARNO and Margaret GREIG (chr. Sept. 26 1802 in Old Deer), or of Andrew DALGARNO and Catharine WRIGHT (chr. Nov. 14 1807 in Longside). There is no record that Thomas and Elizabeth ever married.

Both of these DALGARNO families had links with Longside and Old Deer.

Any connections?
