Looking for more descendants of Wm & Helen (Govenlock) Dalgleish. Wm. was b. ca 1818, Helen b. 1814. They were married 16 Nov 1839, Selkirk, Selkirk, Scot. I am desc. thru their son Thomas b.1850 Selkirk., Scot. Other children were: Ann b.1840,Selkirk (per 1841 Census); William b. 1843, Selkirk,S.,Sct;Margaret b. 1845 Selkirk,S.,Sct;believed to have died in Aberystruth, Monmouth., Wales; Jane b. 1847, Selkirk,S.,Sct; THOMAS(see above); Elizabeth b. 1853 Sct., m. Benjamin Jarmin; Helen/Ellen b. 1854; James b. 1855 Sct., d.1822/23, lived in Aberystruth, occupation: Grocer(1881 Census)desc. live in Australia; Archibald chr.17 Feb 1860 Myddfai By Llandovery, Carmarthen, Wales. Occupation: School teacher, family legend states he taught English to George McCreedy Price. WM & HELEN both died in Bwlch, Brecon., Wales. Have more info. on my line. Would be interested in contacting other Dalgleish lines as well!! Just found a new cousin (James' line) in Australia! Very exciting!!
