Further to my first message: John Dalgliesh and his wife (nee Isabella Swan) were married in 1869 and moved from Canada to Iowa. At the US 1920 census, they were living in Grundy County, Iowa, along with 3 daughters: Margaret, Nellie and Sarah. Would be interested in contacting any descendants.
