Hello David

Dalgleis/Dalgleish/Dalglish/etc "Coat of Arms"

Arms: Argent, a tree eradicated fessways vert, between three pheons azure.
Crest: The stump of an old oak tree sprouting out branches and leaves, proper
Motto: "reveriscam"

(I hadn't heard anyone else mention the Coat of Arms)

This family derives its surname from the lands of Dalgleish, in the Selkirk area, Scotland, yes, I'm led to believe as early as (I have)1407.
