I just recently found this website. My father is Robert Lawrence Dalglish and his son, my brother, and his father were named James Cunningham Dalglish. Apparently, they were from the Glasgow area. James Cunningham Dalglish, my grandfather, immigrated in the late 1800s to Pittsburgh, Pa. He started a family, had eight kids, all of whom except my father, had the middle name of Maxwell. They were Walter Maxwell Dalglish, William Maxwell Dalglish, John Maxwell Dalglish, Jane Maxwell Dalglish, Dorothy Maxwell Dalglish, Mariam Maxwell Dalglish, Bertha (Pearl) Maxwell Dalglish and Robert. My father, Robert Lawrence Dalglish, moved to San Antonio, Texas during World War II. He married and has five children, James Cunningham Dalglish, Karen Jayne Dalglish, Deborah Ann Dalglish, Jean Claire Dalglish and Robert Lawrence Dalglish II. Does anyone have information on this branch of the family?
