William Dall

Hi I trying to do some research for a friend. His grandfather was Captain William Dall, I have his birthdate as about May 1848, and he was born in Scotland, he married Agnes Mills around 1869. She was born in Illinois, I don't have the date. I got this info from the 1900 U.S. Census.

What we are interested in is he was the captain of a schooner that wrecked in Lake Michigan in 1875. And any info anyone has about his parents and so on. I would really appreciate anything about the schooner wreck, I have googled such things but don't know the name of the schooner and can't find his name attached to any of the ones on there.
Thanks very much. Sue Bolin
