Hi all, Just found this forum! I was just handed down my father's pile of geneological stuff (he's still alive, he just wanted me to pick up where he left off) Anyhow, I'm sure there are some tidbits in his stuff that would tie together some pieces for other Dalleys. I am Richard Dalley (with 3 siblings), my father Lawrence Jr. (b.1927 New York City) married Agnes Laura Dunn; His father Lawrence Sr. (1885-1935, b. Brooklyn, NY) married Dorothy Adams; His father Henry Jr. (1848-1914 b. either Ottowa, Canada or NYC?)married Evelyn Maynard Allen; His father Henry Sr.(1800-1876, Rudge, Chilmark, Wiltshire per my Dad's notes)married Keturah Upjohn; His father Capt. William Dalley (March 19, 1775 - 1857 b. Rudge, Wiltshire)married Ann Goodfellow; His father William Dalley (b. 3/12/1775-1809, b. Rudge, England) married Eva de la Riviere Rawlings.
That's as far back as I go. I have much other stuff though that I'm happy to share. I'm pretty sure that one of the William Dalley's is William Bede(?) Dalley who went to Australia at some point. He is now buried at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
