Dallyn family, N. Devon, England

The Dallyn family (my maternal ancestors) are still flourishing in N. Devon! The parish they were most concentrated is Challacombe, Devon. My grandfather, Ambrose Dallyn had six daughters. My gt. grandfather T.M. Luscombe married two of them (not at the same time!) as his second and third wives, so things are a little complicated after the 1880's for me at least. Nevertheless, Challacombe would be an ideal centre for any family researcher. I understand it has an excellent pub, and there are strong 'Lorna Doone' connections.
