A biography/detailed family history of Frank Dallin is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 2.
Father: Cyrus Dallin. b. 1857, Lehi City, UT; d. 1907, Eureka, UT. Mother: Ella Fuller, b. 1859, Springville, UT; d. 1893, Thousand Springs, Idaho. Children: Mabel (Mrs. William Hardy & Mrs. Earl Bradshaw), Frank, Guy, Ella (Mrs. A.W. Young).
Frank attended Eureka High School then served in the US Navy, 1903-1906. He returned to Utah, with a short stay in Los Angeles, California, then in 1915 located to Butte, MT, where he established the Montana Tent & Awning Company.
In the Spring of 1913, Frank married Miss Eva Mitchell, daughter of William & Minnie (Thayer) Mitchell. Dallin child: Dorothy Romana, b. 3 Apr 1914, California. In the 1920 Federal Census, Butte, MT, Dorothy is listed as stepdaughter, living with John Doyle, age 36, b. OR, & Eva Doyle, age 35, b. Utah. In the 1930 Federal Census, Park County, MT, a Frank Dallin is married to Helen J., age 28, b. MN
