Both Josiah Daly, Sr. and John Daly, Sr. Of Mecklenburg Co.VA ca 1800 had sons named John. According to internet sources, Josiah's son John left Mecklenburg Co. for Giles Co., TN. Has this been substantiated? In addition, John Daly, Jr. seems not to be mentioned. I would like to know what happened to him. I am researching the ancestry of John W. Daily, Sr. who was born in VA 1774-1777 and died in Hamilton Co., Il 26 Oct 1865.
