My John Daly (born Co Tyrone 1815) was the son of John Daly and Elizabeth Flanagan. He married Eleanor McLeary in Londonderry in 1839. They emigrated to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia - I think early 1840s. They had four children - Daniel, Isabella (1845-1845), Elizabeth (1847-1907) and John James (1848-1931).
I would like to find out more about the early Dalys in Tyrone - where they might have come from etc...any help anyone?
