Saw your other posts, thought best to reply here. I see in 1900 there were two Daly/Daley families in Poultney Vermont.
One headed by John the aged patriarch who was born around 1811 and came to America in 1848. He was living with his son, sons wife and a large brood of children.
The other was Thomas who came out in 1887 living with his family: Nora, Annie Mary and John.
The family I know in Vermont claims to be out of Cadamstown, Offaly about five miles away from Clonaslee. Dont know which of the two they are descended from. They have some Daly lore.
Peter
