I recommend you add an "o" to the end of the name. My wife is a Damian and they dropped the "o" in the early 1900's. The Damiano's immigrated from Potzena, Italy. Many entered the USA through the Port of New Orleans. Followed the Mississippi north to Pittsburgh. Some settled there other moved on to Rome, New York and Nesquehoning, PA.
