In 1849 Antonietta Damonte and her husband Bartolomeo Val(l)erga immigrated to the U.S. from Italy. He was from Alpicella, Liguria and the Som of Domenico Vallerga and Maria Perata. I do not know from exactly where in Northern Italy she came, but she was born about 1831 and her parents were Francesco Damonte and Bernardina/or Bernardetta Ratti. They both died in the San Francisco, California area in the early 1900's.

They were my great-great-grandparents.
