Hello Dorothy, Acording to family records of my mother's, Charles was born ca 1745 Albemarle Co.,VA and buried in grave on land that was the homeplace and md Mary Polly 5/19/1789 in Richmond Co., VA. Refer to pension records in Jackson County,GA for more information of Charles. Charles Damron was in the 2nd VA reg. 1779-1786 per Dorothy L. Crandall of 10151 Lamar Ave.,Overland Park,KS in July 1979.Also,the book by Helen Snow gives much info on the family.
