Ira JUMP died 2 Dec 1884, "surviving his wife by 14 years". Both are supposedly buried in Peake cemetery, Sandusky OH [but aren't in the index]. They left Poundridge twp in 1832, going to Vermillion twp OH.

DAN/DANN and JUMP families lived on the state line between Poundridge and Stamford, in "Dantown" and "Jumptown" (now Scott's Corners), on either end of Dantown Road, as I recall. Sarah was reportedly born at Dantown.

Sarah DAN JUMP listed herself as "age 50" on the 1850 census, Vermillion twp, Erie Co OH, putting her birth c1800.

I am exploring a possible connection to James DAN b 1764 m Sarah CANFIELD 1766-1811. Unfortunately, the James DAN who applied for a pension in 1832 was age 72, thus b 1760. I don't know anything about their children (yet!).
