Amelie,

To see photo's of me and the family go to http://www.myspace.com/candylandstarr

I am a photographer and make music videos.
Family pictures are down on the left side to the bottom page.

You are about my daughter's age. Lisa D'Andrea is just 31 years old:
My husband Ron D'Andrea was born in September 22, 1936

The D'Andrea's were from Abruzzo the Latin expression "a Bruttiis" (from the Bruttii) meaning the land that began from the Bruzi people, who moved south to occupy Calabria,Carapelle

Adeline Polito was born 1906 in America-
VINCENT Polito,her father from Rome.
Adeline married Felice and became Adeline D'Andrea

Felice D'Andrea born 1889 "the Bruzi" Calabria,Carapelle

New York Passenger Lists, Felice D'Andrea Arrival Date: 12 Jul 1909 Estimated birth year: abt 1898 Port of Departure: Palermo, Italy Ethnicity/Race/Nationality: Italian (South) (Italian) Ship Name: San Giovanni - Born in Calabria Carapelle, Italy

The term Abruzzi derives from the time when the region was part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and the territory was administered as Abruzzo Citeriore (Nearer Abruzzo) and Abruzzo Ulteriore I and II (Farther Abruzzo I and II ), that being nearer and farther from Naples, the capital of the kingdom. Abruzzo Citeriore is present day Chieti province. Abruzzo Ulteriore I comprised the Teramo and Pescara provinces; Abruzzo Ulteriore II is now the Province of L'Aquila.

I am 52 years old, and I guess your father may be around my age?

Adeline told me the D'Andrea family she wrote to lived in a beautiful castle, maybe the Abruzzo?
