I've been reading this string of posts and I think it is possible we and Amelie are related. My Maiden name is Mara D'Andrea. My Grandfather Alberico Amato D'Andrea (born 1899)imigrated to the US (first Tuluca, IL then to Chicago) from Carapelle Calvisio in 1920 or 1921, He never made it back home and died in the US in 1955. His Parents (my Great-Grandparents)were Amato D'Andrea and Domenica DiCesare also from Carapelle Calvisio. My Grandmother Marietta (Mary) D'Andrea (D'Intino) visited Carapelle Calvisio some years after my Grandfather passed away. My Grandmother's parents were also from Carapelle Calvisio (Sabatino D'Intino & Anaveglia DiCenzo). Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I would really love to learn more about my Family and history. Thanks!!!
