The Alexander Dandridge you ID'd is someone I've been searching for for a long time. His daughter Ellen is my great great grandmother (I'd be happy to share all names and dates of this line who, for the most part, lived in St.Louis). Are you related to Thomas? Would love to hear more about him/other sibs. Know that Alexander was from VA, moved to Warrenton and "bought, sold and traded horses." Have seen the 1840 census but that's it. No additional dates, wife's name, etc. Anything more you've since found would be of great interest. My mother and grandmother were both told by older relatives about seeing a Dandridge Family Tree back to Martha Washington's family at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. I've tried to track this but found out that thousands of small exhibits were never really catalogued so no go there.
