The first part you mentioned has to be John DANIELL, Sr. and the second appears to be John DANIELL, Jr. but that 1771 was probably the date of his will and not the date it was probated. What was the date of its probate?
It has to be after 1794, based upon his witness of the deed I attached to the previous message, and I have it that he died in 1812 but you know how that stuff goes.
BTW, all of those deeds were from Pam MILLER's website and concern SC DANIEL/DANIELL deeds. What I did was put him in Chatham County, NC. However, as you will notice in the PA, his brothers said he had recently gone to Charleston, which is probably why they gave him the PA so he could dispose of that property for them.
I do not remember where I got the 1812 date from but I think it was in some SC published burial or death information. I should have written down the source but I did not. I do remember that I later confirmed him in Charleston but I do not remember the date but I think he was an attorney which is the reason they let him sell the property. I will look back through my other SC information and see what it says.
BTW, do you have any links to a RIVERS or SHECUT family of Charleston? I have links to both and these families with my DANIEL bunch in GA. I am especially interested in a Professor W. M. RIVERS (1824-1906) of Charleston and later Augusta.
What I am looking for is a DANIEL/DANIELL family that moved from NC to GA in the 1810 time frame with lots of links back to Charleston. Thanks for responding.....
