I haven't seen anyone question the Daniell spelling of Gov. Robert Daniel. The issue is whether or not those who have maintained that spelling have the right to be haughty about it. If someone thinks I'm going to change the spelling my Daniel (one l) family has used for several generations, think again. I respect the Daniell and Daniels spellings and ask that same respect for mine. The bloodline is what counts not someone's opinion of how I should spell my name.
