Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Bob and others posting Re: Daniel/Daniell spelling:
I can't recall the exact wordage but remember the quote "A Rose, by any other name, smells just as sweet"? I am a descendant of Smith/Smythe, Gann/Ghan, Stephens/Stevens,
Daniell/Daniel, Pruett/Prewett/Pruitt. My relatives by any of these names ARE my relatives and I will honor them by addressing them by the name they choose.
Isn't it great to be an American?
