There is no proof that William DANIELL, Sr. ever married Rachel HOWE, according to Ken DANIEL. That is the general assumption cecause we know her name was Rachel but no one has ever found a marriage record for this marriage nor I ever seen a document which lists the names of all of the children of William, Sr. and his first wife Maybe you have such documents.
The only child of William, Sr. his first wife that was included in his 1840 will was George DANIELL, the youngest son of his first wife. None, of the other children of his first wife were listed in his will, so where did you get this information?
All we know from the historical record is that he came to GA in November 1773 with four boys and two girls, ranging in age from twelve to two year. If this is so, then he and Rachel were married before 1761.
This being the case then Rachel was probably not a HOWE becuase we know when all of Robert HOWE's children were born and Rachel was listed as having been born ABT 1748 and Robert HOWE did not marry Rache's mother until ABT 1745.
There are some real problems here in assigning Rachel HOWE to this marriage.....
