Samuel and his wife had at least four children, Elizabeth the eldest, Victoria, Amelia, my greatgrandmother and Vincent, who was lost at sea. Samuel's wife died around 1841. He later remarried a widow with 3 sons. In 1851 Samuel lived in Illogan and was a yeoman when Amelia married Joseph Hallat a grocer in Truro. Amelia Daniell and Joseph Hallat emigrated to Toronto 1852.
