Gov Robert Daniell, of SC, his life

Everyone is SO into the spelling of his name, and his parentage, that they seem to have ignored his life! And what an interesting life he lead! I have read every book I could find on the man. I've found things worthy of a movie! lol
The Yesseme Indian War, run ins with Black Beard and Stede Bonet (pirates), the attempted assasination in which he had to swordfight his way out! The part that he and his brothers (John and Wilbert) played in the Bacon Rebellion, in which they were forced to flea for their lives to Barbados! John stayed and had a son born in Barbados. He also had a plantation there. Wilbert went on to Antegua for a while before returning to America on the "Johns Adventure". Robert returned on the "Mary" with his son and maid.
There was a ship named "The Daniel", which was captained by one of Robert's son, I believe Marmaduke. He was a Privateer for the King of England.
I think it's TERRIBLY exciting! If anyone knows more stories on Robert Daniell, let me know! I'd love to hear them! Donna Drury
