Further to my previous post, in notes given to me some time ago by an elderly cousin, Thomas Daniell also spent a huge amount of money on additions and decorations to Trellisick. The same notes also state that he died in Boulogne aged 79. It also confirms that he was High Sherriff of Cornwall in 1826.

I have only just started looking into my England/Daniell/Osbaldeston ancestors and am using these notes as a starting point - even though though they are a bit short on birth, death and marriage dates.
