Hi Fran,
I'm familiar with Robert Daniell and Ann Allanson, but they aren't related (at least not closely) to our family. Although this couple did have a son named Robert, he was not our Robert Daniell (d. 1718 SC). Robert Daniell and Ann Allanson's son was born 1630, had no sons, and didn't leave England. Our Robert Daniell was born 1645 or 1646, had two sons and three daughters, and was in Charleston by 1677 (not 1679). Unfortunately, it is the coat of arms of Robert Daniell and Ann Allanson (which is quartered) and their dog or wolf-like crest that has been incorrectly assigned to our Robert. The coat of arms consistently used by our Robert Daniell (d. 1718 SC) was not quartered and his crest was different.
